How to make a theme HEADER:
If you’re using ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
- Make a new canvass (FILE>NEW or Ctrl+N)
- Enter the desired size (In pixels) Just estimate the size suited for your theme. You can estimate by trial and error technique by cropping or resizing the canvass
- If you know the basics of photoshop, go ahead and design the banner
- After, save it in .png (portable network graphic file)
- Upload it to any file hosting site (Examples are webs, wordpress but I suggest upload it in tinypic.com)
- Copy the Image URL
- Substitute it in this html code:
<img src=”IMAGE URL“> - Then paste the code preferably in the space after </head> <body> but it really depends on your theme. Just do trial and error again to know where to place the code.
- That’s it!
